The Mechanics of "Faith," The Mechanism of Miracles

The Holy Word tells us that when we, as Christians, exercise our faith, miracles happen. So when we talk about "The Mechanics of Faith" we are actually talking about "The Mechanics of How Miracles from God Happen for Us."

Principle number one: God does it. He does the work. He performs the miracles, not us. It's not because of anything we can do, because miracles are of God and God alone, because God transcends the natural order of things. Therefore, we are not afflicted by doubt stemming from our knowledge of "natural-world limitations" which have no relevance where God is concerned.

Therefore, a spirit of thanksgiving and praise emit from our grateful hearts as we witness miracle after miracle occurring vis-a-vis the exercise of our faith. But the interesting twist in this (that causes most people to miss their miracle) is that the spirit of thanksgiving and praise emitting from our grateful hearts has to occur prior to the miracle occurring. This is the opposite of the way the natural world operates. In the natural world something good happens and then we rejoice. In the realm of the miracles of God, we rejoice in the knowledge of God's faithfulness. A spirit of thanksgiving and praise emit from our grateful hearts because we know that God never fails, and the timing of the miracle's occurrence is up to God. Therefore, we faint not, but just keep on praising God and thanking God for his miracle before the miracle even manifests itself because our faith in God is strong and absolute, and when our faith in God is strong and absolute the miracle always happens. If we faint we bare witness with ourselves that the miracle may not take place, and our doubt in effect questions God's might and integrity, and under those circumstances the miracle will not happen. Faith becomes null and void.

It's just the same as if you planted a seed in the ground, watered it faithfully, and then decided to dig it up to see if it was germinating or just lying there dormant. Faith in God's integrity is just like having faith that a seed planted in the ground when "properly watered" will germinate. The "properly watered" aspect of faith is "the spirit of praise and thanksgiving" that you pour out on your petitions to God. These stem from your absolute faith in God's integrity, because you know that God is faithful and he will fulfill his Word and his Covenant with mankind.

With the solid interplay of faith followed by "miracles happening," the "Joy of the Lord" becomes ours. The "Joy of the Lord" stems from that ecstatic feeling of ABSOLUTE SECURITY. There is no security that is absolute security except it comes from the one who is all-powerful, the one who transcends all "natural-world limitations" and the one who is not a man that he should lie, the great God Almighty himself.

Now, analyzing biblically what you can do by yourself, Matthew 17:20 quotes Jesus' words, saying, "Verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, 'Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.'"  Mark 11:23 says, “Verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.” OK. You have cancer. You have financial problems. You have lost loved ones, or whatever. You have been given the authority (as you walk the Holiness Walk) to say "Cancer, Financial Problems, Worldly Control over my lost loved ones, be you removed, and be you cast into the sea!" and it will be done for you of your Father in Heaven. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, because your Heavenly Father is faithful to fulfill his word.

Do you wish to geometrically magnify the miracle-working power of God in your life? The Holy Word of God tells us just how to do that:

As you walk The Holiness Walk (see The Holiness Walk, a Four-Fold Awareness by clicking the Home Page link) Jesus is walking with you, and his angelic hosts are hovering over you to protect you, and Jesus said, "If any two of you (who are walking the Holiness Walk) shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them (Matthew 18:19-20)."

Remember, the main key to devil and bondage busting is to radiate an “Attitude of Gratitude” smothered in a spirit of praise and thanksgiving.  “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things (end time tribulation and persecution) that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (Jesus of Nazareth, Luke 21:36).

So we fear and doubt not, knowing that the name of “Jesus” protects us:

Proverbs 18:10:   “The name of the Lord is a strong tower.  The righteous run to it and are safe.”

John 17:11:  Jesus prays for those the Father has given him:  “Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one just as we are one.  While I was with them I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me.  None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction (Judas Iscariot) so that the scripture would be fulfilled.”

Proverbs 18:24:  “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticketh closer than a brother.” (Therefore, let those in distress call, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!”)

Psalm 20:7:  “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”

So, “praying always” may be seen to take the form of (1) an attitude of thanksgiving coupled with (2) repeating the name of “Jesus” over and over as difficulties arise.  The Spirit of Christ tangibly comes over you and within you to strengthen your faith and your resolve.  Remember, Jesus, not you, solves the problem by directing your path and intervening supernaturally.  “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”  (Jesus of Nazareth, John 16:33).  The Spirit of Christ you call upon by repeating the name of Jesus does the supernatural work on your behalf.  You need only obey as the Spirit directs you and rejoice, praising God continually as you go.

Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40.

You may now enjoy the ecstatic luxury of living in a constant stream of God's miracles. This is the inheritance of the children of God.
